Han Solo Fundraiser!

One of the members of the Minnesota Force is moving to a smaller home and is selling some of his Star Wars collectibles. One of those items is a full-size Han Solo in Carbonite, and the Minnesota Force is raising funds to purchase this amazing prop! Our plan is to display it at the Mos Icee Cantina (our party room at CONvergence) and potentially display it at other events.

If you have a few dollars to spare, please donate to our fundraiser! All money will go toward “adopting” Han and improving the Mos Icee Cantina to make it more fun for all of our visitors! Our goal is $700.00.

Please note that the PayPal account is for Costumers for a Cause, our partner non-profit organization. However, all funds for this fundraiser will go to the Minnesota Force.

On May 5, 2018, the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, and Minnesota Force attended the Minnesota Vixen football game! Our appearance was cut short due to the intimidating thunderstorm that delayed the game shortly after it began, but we still had a great time! (The Vixen won the game, by the way!)

On May 4, 2018, the Minnesota Force attended the May the 4th Celebration at Dangerous Man Brewing Co.! We had an information table, helped judge the costume contest, and sampled DM’s special brew, Blue Milk! Our friends in The Saber Legion also did a lightsaber combat demo. Mike, our Clone Trooper, also got an AT-AT tattoo while in costume from Tiger Rose Tattoo.

On May 4th, 2018, Costumers for a Cause (with members of the Minnesota Force, 501st Legion, and Rebel Legion) appeared in the rotunda at the Mall of America for the grand opening of CMX Cinemas. The group posed for photos with guests…and got into some shenanigans, too.
